As a bilingual/bicultural psychotherapist, I respect cultural diversity, blended families, alternative lifestyles, as well as individual values, rituals, and beliefs. Embracing my heritage as a proud Latina of indigenous descent, I advocate for a holistic therapeutic approach integrating various modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy, solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness practices.
I strive to create a safe and inclusive space with zero judgment. My goal is to help you navigate life’s struggles in a way that’s empowering, drawing from your true strengths. Cultivating a place of growth and self discovery to enable a more positive outlook to life is my overall mission. During my time in the US Army, I realized my gift was to help people with their mental health instead of physically protecting them. My areas of specialty are anxiety, depression, grief, transitional periods, substance use, and trauma.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I received my education from the University of Texas at Arlington, where I received my Bachelors in Psychology, and a Masters in Social Work specializing in Mental Health and Substance Abuse. Certified Cognitive-Behavioral Therapist and Dialectical Behavioral Therapist.
